The problem discovery

Students who live without private cars usually feel exhausted when doing weekly grocery shopping.

Students who live without private cars usually feel exhausted when doing weekly grocery shopping.

Weekly grocery shopping is fixed routine for many students. It means enormous and heavy items which are hard to move without vehicles, not to mention changeable conditions on the way back home. At the same time, due to distance, many students are unlikely to go to supermarkets if they only want to buy a few items.

Weekly grocery shopping is a regular task for uni students in Loughborough. Given the distance of the accommodation from the town centre, transporting bulky and heavy items without vehicles can be challenging, especially considering unpredictable conditions on the journey back home. Additionally, due to the distance, many students are unwilling to visit supermarkets for small purchases.
